Mary’s Story

“My five kids and I were abandoned by my husband 10 years ago. My biggest concern has been how to raise them on little to no income. There are very few opportunities for me to earn wages where we live. Occasionally I make money by washing clothes for people, but I don’t always have a place to wash. Esther’s Story

“My husband died four years ago due to HIV/AIDS, leaving me with three children. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to work due to complications with my health. It was a horrible moment to gaze at my starving kids knowing I couldn’t do anything to help them. Praise God, we’ve been able to receive some food rations from Project Matthew. My family and I are so grateful!”
